Will Christine benefit from Kody and Robyn’s high-priced home sale?
Sister Wives stars, Kody and Robyn Brown just sold their OG Flagstaff home for an insane amount of money. They sold it for much more than what they purchased it for in 2019 and higher than the initial listing price. Now, fans believe that the main person who will profit from the sale is Kody’s ex-wife, Christine Brown Woolley. How so? Keep reading for more details.
Sister Wives Christine Profiting From Kody & Robyn’s Home Sale
Kody and Robyn Brown loved their massive Flagstaff mansion and that was where they spent all of their time. He looked at it as his safe space away from his OG wives and they noticed this. Therefore, he was always there with his “favorite” wife and her five kids. Then, his first three wives left the family one by one and he was left angry and bitter. Second wife, Janelle Brown noted how he may have felt like a failure in the eyes of their church because he was down to one wife.
Kody also had his land, Coyote Pass which he initially shared with all of his wives. Now that they were gone, he needed to figure out what to do with it financially. By selling his home, he could pay off the land, and buy out the exes while giving back for all they had given financially for years. He also was hit with a lawsuit by Christine Brown Woolley for back child support on their youngest, Truely so anything helped. However, Kody and Robyn pulled the listing and bought a $2.1 million home leaving them with two mansions.
Then, on November 4th, the OG Flagstaff home was sold, per Starcasm. It was listed for $1.65 but sold for $1.775 million. Therefore, the Sister Wives couple made $125K more than what they asked, plus they only paid $890K five years ago. They had taken a $1.68 million loan out for their new home so with all of this money, fans turned their attention to Christine. This sale could profit her in the long run due to her suit against Kody.
This Money Is For Christine
Since Kody Brown is being sued for back child support, he also had to take a paternity test. He was not listed on Truely Brown’s birth certificate for various reasons. Therefore, they have to establish that she is officially his. With the money that has come from the home sale, more than he and Robyn Brown asked for, fans feel it should go right to Christine. First, though, they wanted to know how this sale would impact her case:
- it’s back payment and hence why she went to court. The courts will take what he owes her from the proceeds of this house and transfer to her. It’s still a win for her.
- I hope the courts take him for that child support he owes Christine he pays these women off what he owes them and they canceled the show that way him and Robin have to work to keep up with with that 2.1 million home they bought
Along with Christine, followers wanted to make sure Meri and Janelle Brown were also fairly compensated:
- He used Janelle for her money…. let’s see if he pays her
- Good now they can pay Meri & Janelle off for the land and Christine for child support
The records for the court case have been sealed but hopefully, there is some resolution for the OG wives when it comes to the land. They put too much into it to be left with nothing.
