90 Day Fiancé

This is the reason why Sunny’s father chose to stay silent when he learned that his son was taking advantage of Veah and did not want to marry her.

90-Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 7 cast member Sunny started to rub the show’s fans the wrong way after failing to defend his girlfriend, Veah, when his father criticized her way of life.

Instead of standing up for Veah, Sunny chose to remain quiet during the dinner scene and later justified his father’s actions and point of view. This has led to accusations of hypocrisy, as Sunny claims to be a Muslim man but has no problem drinking and engaging in premarital relationships. Fans are frustrated that Sunny expects Veah to adhere to his family’s strict Muslim rules and expectations while he seemingly does whatever he wants.

In the latest episode, Veah met Sunny’s father, who was rude and disrespectful towards her. He criticized her tattoos and demanded that she remove them and convert to Islam if she wanted to marry Sunny. Sunny’s father already had a negative impression of Veah and did not see her as a suitable match for his son. This explains why he had no problem giving her a hard time, knowing that Veah was just an American tourist who had fun with his son, Sunny, and would never be accepted into their Muslim Bangladeshi family. Sunny’s lack of defense for Veah in this situation has only fueled fans’ frustration and disappointment.

From the looks of it, Sunny respects his father and will never defy him, which means his relationship with Veah was doomed from the start. Without Sunny standing up to his family, there is little chance for their relationship to succeed. Fans are concerned that Sunny’s unwillingness to challenge his family’s expectations and support Veah will ultimately lead to the couple’s downfall. The future of their relationship seems bleak, as the cultural and religious differences, combined with Sunny’s apparent hypocrisy, create insurmountable obstacles for them.
