In the recent episode, Kody and Robyn get emotional as Aurora asks them to baptize her. For the unversed, getting baptized is a holy process where one is immersed in water before entering the church. This is a public declaration that they are now a follower of Jesus.
Aurora asked Kody and Robyn to baptize her. He has numerous times revealed that he is much closer to his kids with the latter than the others. Robyn has two daughters from her previous marriage, and Aurora is one of them. Kody adopted Robyn’s kids a few years after marrying her. Since childhood, she has also coerced her daughters to be in Kody’s good books and behave a certain way with him, and it seems like the daughters are finally listening.

Sister Wives star Kody has a soft spot for Aurora. He has openly shown his affection for her in multiple instances. In a recent video, Kody, Robyn, and the entire family were playing Jenga. Aurora pulled out a block, and the tower collapsed. Kody won, much to his delight. He further hugged Aurora excitedly and even consoled her for losing.
After this public display of affection, Robyn rolled her eyes. She looked quite angry and then smiled when she realized the cameras were on. In addition, she looked annoyed by Kody hugging Aurora. Fans wondered if Robyn was one of those who got jealous of their daughters. Some even highlighted that Robyn seems insecure about her own kids. She is constantly fighting for Kody’s attention and is unwilling to share it with anyone else.

Sister Wives star Kody has been forcing the entire Brown family to go to the church. He is very spiritual and always talks about the church. Robyn also follows her lead and encourages her kids to go to church on a regular basis. Aurora further asked Kody to baptize her. Kody, after hearing Aurora’s demand, immediately got emotional. This is probably a very few times that people have seen him show emotions other than anger.
Robyn also teared up. Kody went ahead and hugged Aurora and asked her if her father had no issues with it. After she had agreed, he told her that he would definitely baptize her. Taking to the camera, Kody further shared that Aurora did not cross-question him, and he liked it. Aurora shared that she wanted to get baptized as a declaration that her life now belongs to God. She wants to find her relationship with Jesus.
Aurora further said that she does not want to get baptized to go to a certain church. Moreover, she wants to find her way to God. Kody and Robyn were happy and satisfied with her answer. They then had a heart-to-heart conversation and cleared out any doubts they had in mind. She wants to declare that she loves God and has put her faith in him. Kody said he was stunned when Aurora asked Robyn and him to baptize her.
Kody and Aurora both get emotional as they hug. He readily agrees to baptize her and is super happy with Aurora’s decision.
