Janelle Brown Visited An Arizona Landmark With A Special Tradition
Janelle was Kody Brown’s second wife on the show. The two shared multiple children, and later grandchildren, together. In 2022, the two announced they were separating.
Since this news has come to light, Janelle has been making a new transition in her life. During a recent episode of Sister Wives, Janelle had a moment that solidified this change.
As noted by Monsters & Critics, the February 2 episode of the series showed Janelle and Christine Browm going on a road trip together. During the episode, Janelle was planning a new life for herself in North Carolina with her daughter.
Along for the ride were Christine’s husband and daughter, David Woolley and Truely. Together, they made a stop in Holbrook, Arizona, at a landmark known as The Plotz Plot.
Janelle described the place as a “pilgrimage site.” It hosts a small, orange metal shed with a sign. It read, “For those experiencing a life transition: This is a place to leave behind a piece of your former self.”
Guests are expected to leave behind an item. This reflects them leaving the past behind. In effect, it encourages visitors to transform themselves and move on.
Kody Brown Had The Necklaces Made For His Wives Back In Season 6
Janelle ended up leaving behind a necklace that Kody had designed for her. This was when Robyn started her own jewelry business, My Sisterwife’s Closet.
Fans of the series may remember they got to see Kody custom-design the necklaces back in the sixth season. At the time, each of his four wives were given a specialized necklace. A flashback played during the episode in which Christine described the necklace’s black color as “so extremely awesome.”
During the recent trip, Janelle noted, “If you have a big life transition, you’re going to leave something behind and step into the new life. Kody designed necklaces for all his wives, and mine was this tree.”
“So I’m leaving behind the necklace that Kody designed for me. I’m going to make my own tree.”
Janelle admitted that she appreciated the necklace. She especially liked the design of a tree within the necklace. However, Janelle also felt it was important to let go of something that symbolized her ex-husband.
As Janelle noted, “It’s nice to make the gesture of just leaving that life behind.” She also admitted, “I really did sort of mourn the loss of the necklace when I walked away because I loved it, but it was time to kind of leave it.”
