90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 couple therapy sessions were not helpful for Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina’s marriage, and they couldn’t save it from falling apart.
According to their Instagram activities over the last six months, the couple has been arguing frequently and breaking up on and off. Julia and Brandon began filming for the second season of The Last Resort in April 2024. After the show ended, they used their reality TV money to travel across the UK and Europe. However, as expected, they had a big fight in the middle of the trip. According to Julia’s Instagram story, they had to finish the trip separately to avoid ruining each other’s mood.
Now that it’s the holidays, the couple is still arguing non-stop about the same issues they faced during couple therapy. Julia doesn’t want to be touched by Brandon anymore, and he still wants kids while she doesn’t. Julia’s recent Instagram story was grim, as she mentioned that she wasn’t in the mood for Christmas this year. She didn’t buy presents or celebrate the holiday. Julia spent Christmas alone with her German Shepherd dogs, while Brandon stayed at his family farm without her. Unfortunately, it looks like New Year’s Eve will be the same, with the couple spending it apart.
The only good thing couple therapy on reality TV did for Brandon and Julia was to bring more traffic and exposure to their social media and Only Fans pages. The therapy sessions were ineffective, just like last season with other couples. The therapists TLC hires for their 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show seem to be useless, as four out of the five couples who participated in couple therapy on The Last Resort season 1 ended up breaking up or divorcing during or soon after the show ended.
