A once-in-a-lifetime gig! 90 Day Fiancé star Biniyam “Bini” Shibre performed with Kendrick Lamar as an acrobat in the rapper’s Super Bowl 2025 halftime show.
The TLC personality, 34, took to his Instagram to share several group photos with Kendrick’s other background performers, who were all dressed in red, white and blue, as well as Samuel L. Jackson, who dressed in an Uncle Sam costume for his appearance in the halftime show on Sunday, February 9. Bini could be seen squatting down in the front of the group, wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue pants.
Bini also shared a compilation video featuring clips of himself walking in front of the Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders, exploring the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, practicing his dance moves and getting hyped up before the show. The reality star also shared and reposted other photos and videos from the night on his Instagram Stories.
Bini’s wife, Ariela “Ari” Weinberg, showed her support for her husband on her own Instagram Stories.
“Congrats to Bini! He was one of the acrobats on the street lamp in the halftime show!” Ari, 34, wrote over a photo of her TV during the halftime show. “I am SO SO SO proud of you!”
Sharing another photo of her screen, Ari added, “Of course when I talked to Bini, he wasn’t nervous at all. I would have been freaking out! What an amazing opportunity to perform at one of the biggest events in the world in front of the American president!”
90 Day Fiancé fans met Ari and Bini on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 in June 2022. The pair met in Bini’s home country of Ethiopia, where Ari was traveling amid a divorce. Soon after her new romance began, the couple realized they were expecting their first child, so Ari decided to move from America to Africa so that they could raise a family together.
Viewers watched Ari and Bini experience a culture clash and disagreements over their living situation, but the two overcame their issues and supported each other through the birth of their son, Aviel, in December 2019. Ari and Bini also got engaged by the end of The Other Way season 2.
The couple continued to experience problems in their relationship, including trust issues and financial complications. However, they put their differences aside to move to the U.S. once Bini’s K-1 visa was approved in 90 Day Fiancé season 9, which aired in April 2022. The couple tied the knot during a July 2022 episode.
Unfortunately, the marriage hit another rough patch, as Ari and Bini sparked split rumors in early 2024 when the New Jersey native told a fan online that the MMA fighter was “single.”
Now, fans of Ari and Bini are watching the couple make one last attempt to save their marriage in 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2. Bini revealed on the show that he was living separately from his estranged wife in Las Vegas and working as an MMA fighter and stunt performer. He explained that although he and Ari were still in love, their marriage had a lot of issues, and he was angry at her.
“I hope we can work on our marriage. We need to think about it for our son,” he continued. “That is why I came here.”
