90 Day Fiancé

Rayne exposes Chidi’s sister for faking everything on the show

On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7, Victoria was portrayed as the caring and protective sister of her visually impaired younger brother, Chidi. The narrative painted Victoria as a guardian, constantly watching over Chidi to ensure his safety and well-being. However, as with many reality  TV portrayals, there is more beneath the surface.

On the show, Chidi Ikpeamaeze had a good relationship with his sister; however, it significantly impacted his romantic life. Victoria’s protective nature often clashed with Chidi’s relationship with Rayne, leading to several heated arguments. Victoria expressed concerns about Rayne’s intentions and her influence over Chidi, which only fueled tensions between the trio.

Since the seventh season of the spin-off show premiered, Rayne has used her social media pages to voice her grievances about Chidi and Victoria. According to Rayne, Victoria’s portrayal on the show was far from accurate. Rayne claimed that Victoria did not genuinely care for her brother and went as far as to call her a “user” and a bad sister.

According to Rayne, Chidi had not lived with Victoria for years and resided in a government-assisted house for the blind in a different town. Rayne accused Victoria of inviting Chidi to stay at her house solely for the show’s filming, allegedly in exchange for compensation from the producers.

Rayne’s social media rants should be taken with a grain of salt, as she suffers from multiple untreated mental illnesses, which can impact her statements and actions. Nevertheless, some of her claims raise concerns. Rayne also alleged that Victoria controlled every aspect of Chidi’s life, from when he could shower, sleep, eat, and go out. She even claimed that Victoria monitored Chidi’s phone conversations, demanding he use loudspeakers so she could listen in, effectively making Chidi her puppet.

Victoria’s controlling ways might stem from her desire to ensure her brother’s safety in Nigeria, a country where dangers are prevalent, and a visually impaired individual like Chidi could face significant risks. Victoria’s intentions, however, may have gone beyond mere protection and crossed into obsessive control.
