90 Day Fiancé

Rayne explains why she has a problem with the female viewers of the show

Rayne Fernandez quickly became one of the most polarizing figures on Season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Her journey on the reality  TV show has been marked by frustration and disappointment with her Nigerian partner, Chidi, and his family. Her unusual interactions with those around her led fans of the show to question her sanity.

From the outset, Rayne has made it clear that she was unhappy with how the TLC producers portrayed her on the show. She feels that the show’s narrative has painted her as an “evil crazy person,” a characterization that she believes is far from the truth. Despite her grievances, Rayne has shown a peculiar fondness for the attention she receives from fans, whether it’s positive or negative.

In one of her recent Threads posts, Rayne confessed that she has a particular issue with the show’s female audience. She claimed that they leave the nastiest comments under her social media posts. Rayne described the female fans of the show as “gutted” and accused them of living a miserable existence. Rayne’s harsh words highlight her frustration with the relentless negativity she faces online. She believes that these female fans are jealous of her because she is  on TV and has exciting things happening in her life, while they, in her view, sit at home watching and hating.

As Before The 90 Days Season 7 aired, the attention and online trolling became overwhelming for Rayne. The constant barrage of hate messages led her to several mental breakdowns, which eventually resulted in her being fired from the show. However, rather than retreating from the spotlight, Rayne chose to embrace her role as a TV villain.

Nowadays, Rayne appears to have accepted her controversial status. She has adopted a more measured approach to dealing with her critics and trolls, using her Threads page to address them calmly. By doing so, she hopes to control the narrative and maintain her sanity amidst the chaos of reality TV fame.
