These two initially met at a dance club where the former taught her some ways of Ethiopian dancing and had a dance with the latter. Apparently, they were in the same friend group and they began hanging out with each other as well.
Despite a language barrier, Biniyam and Bria decided to walk down the aisle in Addis Ababa in June 2016. The latter soon learned that she was pregnant, and the couple soon welcomed a baby with gastroschisis. That is why Bria’s family used their political bonds to bring Biniyam to America after his visa was denied several times by the authorities.
The couple then had an American wedding ceremony in the U.S. in July 2017. They walked down the aisle with their son, Simon, and all the family members.
